Open hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

The  Sergeantsville United Methodist Church is a thriving church with members

who are passionate about making a difference in their community.

Our mission at SUMC is to make disciples and provide opportunities for spiritual growth!

Looking for a place to worship?

We'd love to have you join us at either of our two weekly services on Sunday:

9:00 AM with a weekly Communion service

11:00 AM with a children's Sunday School program from September to June.

Blessing of the Animals Service
Sunday, October 5th at 2 p.m.

We will gather in our rear field for a parade of pets with prayers and a celebration of all of God’s creatures. Animal and people treats will be served.

We invite all attendees to bring a pet food donation for Flemington-Raritan Food Pantry.

Bring your leashed, crated or otherwise secured domestic critters and be part of the holy fun! If your animal is too large to bring to us, Pastor Jessica would love to come to you to bless your pet or farm animal.

The tradition of animal or pet blessings is in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all God’s creatures. Francis, whose feast day is October 4, wrote a Canticle of the Creatures, an ode to God’s living things: “All praise to you, O Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.”

For more information, contact Pastor Jessica at 609-397-2333 or

Join us, so that together,

we can get to know God better!
